Blade
Apply a thin coat of protective oil after use. Wipe clean of dirt, water, and fingerprints regularly. Tighten handle and sharpen as needed.

Use a medium to fine file to straighten out any larger dings or nicks in the blade. The edge can be honed with a medium sharpening disk or stone.

Sheath
Gently brush off any visible dirt. If you must wipe clean, use plain water and mild soap solution only if necessary. Allow sheath to air dry. Do not machine wash.
